"The Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program, KCCP, in support of Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program in Portland OR., Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program in Seattle WA. and the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program in British Columbia and the Yukon, will raise money and awareness to fight and find the cure for children’s cancer.
The KCCP is a long term project that we hope to expand to a global program. Children’s cancer affects many families. Thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer each year, and with the help of research their chances of surviving have more than tripled. KCCP hopes to be a part of finding a cure. Not only will this benefit children it will benefit all cancer patients worldwide. Remember the research of adult cancers does nothing to help cure children’s cancer, but the research of children’s cancers does help find the cure of adult cancers."

Kiwanis and UNICEF team up to carry out the the Eliminate Project, which raises money towards getting vaccines to the poorest and most neglected populations of babies and mothers in order to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.
Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus causes babies to suffer from convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch. Over 60,000 babies and mothers perish from this disease each year.

Project Educate
"Our monetary goal is $30,000; with this money we will help aid three different schools in Jamaica. Our goal is to provide library equipment, such as computers and printers, and classroom supplies, such as pencils and notebooks. Another goal is to rebuild the library of Wakefield Primary School, which was burnt down in April. Additional contributions include funding the tuition of two students for the 2013-2014 school year."
