2012-2013 Sweatshirt Design Contest
If you want to submit a sweatshirt design for the 2012-2013 year, please email your submissions to garfieldkeyclub@gmail.com by scanning them, taking pictures of them, or creating them online here:http://www.customink.com/. Click on "Get Started" and choose any sweatshirt template to create your design on.
The chosen designer will either receive $5 off their sweatshirt order or $5 as a gift-card. So get designing!

Joint Bonfire Social with Franklin
Come hang out with Key Clubbers from Garfield and Franklin. We'll have a small bonfire with awesome food and games!
It will be held on August 14 at Alki Beach from 3pm-6pm
Ultimate Frisbee Social
We will be having a social at Jefferson Park on August 22! Bring your energy, and we'll have tons of fun!
Summer Car Washes
Come help us out at our car washes on June 27, Aug 10, and Aug 24! We will be raising money for DCON and various charities! Bonus: You get hours for helping out and hanging with the best club officers ever!
All car washes will be held at the Montlake Hop-In.
Seattle Rally
Meet us at Hazen High School (1011 Hoquiam Ave NE Renton, Seattle) from 9:00AM-3:45PM for a mini DCON with various workshops! Visit the fb event page, and register here!
Peppermint Bark
We are having our annual club fundraiser of selling peppermint bark!
You can help out by making peppermint bark on your own or help the officers by selling peppermint bark in your classes!

Who: Division 26
What: Annual ice-skating fundraiser ($10)
Where: Sno-King Ice Arena (Castle Ice Arena)
When: December 14 (Saturday)
1:30PM-5:30PM
Why: To raise money for the Eliminate Project

Our annual Officer Date Night Fundraiser is here again!
Bid on any of the ten officers to join them in a night of delicious food and activities.
The dinner will be held on Dec. 27 (Friday).

Buy a warm fresh donut in the morning on Alder st!
It can be for yourself, your friends, or even your awesome teacher!
Proceeds will go towards DCON and Project Eliminate!
PNW District Convention 2014
The annual DCON is coming up!
The deadline for forms and money is Dec. 30 (Thurs.)
Print and fill out pages 22 & 23!
Cash is preferable, but if you do write a check, it will be two separate ones!
Here are the fees:
If you pay by January 13th, the cost will be $115 ($82.50 for Sheraton Seattle Hotel and $32.50 for PNW Key club Convention)
If you pay January 14th-20th, it will be $120 ($82.50 for Sheraton Seattle Hotel and $37.50 for PNW Key club Convention).
If you pay January 21st - January 30th, it will be $125 ($82.50 for Sheraton Seattle Hotel and $42.50 for PNW Key club Convention).
If you are still unsure about attending, please come to the DCON information meeting on Jan. 23 (thurs) in room 309!
Ultimate Frisbee & Potluck Social
On March 15 at 1:00, we will be:
playing ultimate frisbee at a nearby park, if it's not raining, hanging out at Shirlee's house, and playing games.
If the weather is nice, we can do both!

WE'RE STILL SELLING THEM! They are $5 each and go toward the club fee portion for DCON and KCCP (Kiwanis Children's Cancer Program). Let us know if you would like one!
June Divisional Council Meeting
Our very own Garfield Key Club will be hosting the DCM on June 22! We have tons of things planned, so show up at Jefferson Park/Golf Course to have some fun!
Restocking the Officer Cabinet
Lots of thanks to our 2012-2013 officer board for doing such an awesome job. Now it is time for the new board to lead us to another successful year.

The top 8 teachers with the most tickets to their name will be pie-d during lunch on Friday, March 14th so come to the Commons to watch!

Pie-A-Teacher
Thank you to everyone that bought raffle tickets! Six teachers were pied: Spang, Sodano, Soroko, Fell, Berquist, and NK!
Care Package Put-Together
For our service project this year, we will be putting coloring books and crayons into little bundles and sending them to either a local organization or to the Phillippines.
If you are interested, you can come help put packages together this Sunday, March 30th.
We will be meeting up sometime in the afternoon, and the location will be announced shortly.
